A Generic OoC - Anomi

The fighting arena was 50x50 square feet and made of earth. A figure wearing an all black uniform would stand on the far end of the arena approximately 20 feet from the edge and awaiting the opponent. They simply stood there not saying a word while leaning forward and onto the balls of their feet.

Toph, a small young girl with short black hair and a yellow-green hairband... she had green eyes, but being a blind girl seemed to drain the saturation from her irises, lightening them. For clothing she wore a short-sleeve green shirt under a yellow button vest. She had dark green leather bracers for both her ankles and wrists, and loose green pants to complete the look. Aside of her apparel she wielded a simple steel shield, circular in shape and curved for better defense. It was a very dull dark grey in color, unstrapped but grasped by her right hand.

She did not see the color in her surroundings due to her impairment, and thus had lost the beauty of sight. However, she felt her opponent, and the arena, and everyone in the crowds around her. Where her eyes failed her, her senses of hearing and touch made up for it. She could make out an entire 360 degree view of her combatant, feeling it through the earth. She would be standing only 10 feet from the opposing edge of the field, being 20 feet from this silent figure. She would give off a smirk and point at him with her free hand. "I hope you're ready to get your butt kicked!" Was all she said.

The faceless lackey would watch their opponent come upon the arena and tilt their head. It was just a kid out of all people..Either way, benders were benders and they all needed to be dealt with. Without waiting, the suited figure would begin to dash towards the opponent while staying on their toes. Keeping a close eye on the girl's movements, they'd look to close seven feet while flicking an arm and releasing a single throwing knife. This was a simple test of reaction, as the knife went straight towards the girls left shoulder and went to physically impair her the rest of the bout. Being sure to keep a random series of movements while closing the distance, so there wouldn't be a pattern, the Chi Blocker would prepare another set of throwing knives to launch at the young girl once reading her reciprocation.

When he began running, Toph shifted into her battle stance; she had bent limbs but her stance still was stubborn and strong like nothing in the world could move her. Conforming the shield to this stance, she held it defensively in front of her. He was definitely light on his feet whoever this guy was, but Toph had been using this earthen sense for her entire life, and it was ingrained enough to map out his entire body as long as one part of his body was touching the earth. Toph, being familiar with this arena, knew of the giant Earth Kingdom Emblem set in the center of the arena... it had a nice squared slot suitable to fit a person inside of it. Toph would raise and stomp her forward foot—hidden partially behind the steel shield—and in coordination the giant stone coin would rise out of the ground just as his movements brought him five feet forward from his original spot. Since he had planned on moving further, hopefully this would surprise him, the inner wall catching him at his stomach.

If she was successful, she would slide that same foot a couple inches forward, while simultaneously pushing the shield forward as much. In response the giant emblem would hurtle away from Toph, towing the masked man by his torso far past the edge of the arena and into the first few rows of the stadium stands. Otherwise, she would simply duck behind her shield while continuing to read his movements with her earth sense.

The opponent squared her stance, giving the chi blocker plenty of sign that something was to happen. Reading every inch of the small girls frame, the Chi Blocker would await the first attack from the opponent. Seeing how most bending stemmed from the arms and legs, this was what the blocker was focusing most of their attention towards. Since the shield covered the majority of her body, the blocker would have to focus on her feet instead. With one being shifted out of sight, s/he could only expect the girl was preparing an attack, making the chi blocker just as prepared. When the sound of earth being moved was focused below the blocker, it'd shoot up and attempt to trap them within a small square. However, this wouldn't hinder the anti-bender, as they immediately dropped their weight and ducked under the flying stone before it could be pushed back. As the stone flew over head, the Equalist would flick a wrist and fling two throwing knives. Both were aimed towards each of the girl's ankles poking out from beneath the shield. Without waiting for results of the attack, the chi blocker would shoot forward once again, looking to close another 10 feet while keeping their random advances.

As Toph's body pushed forward to make the gargantuan emblem fly off, she felt as her opponent dropped his weight to the ground to slide across the ground. Always focused on what her opponent's actions, she would notice as his wrists made a distinct flick, strong enough to sling a pair of somethings at her. It was a throwing action, and Toph would be wary enough to bang her steel shield down into the ground and duck her entire body behind it. No surprise, as she felt the impacts and heard the metallic clangs of two knives being deflected by her shield.

After that, she would immediately chain into an earthbending move, standing up and bringing her back foot off the ground. A two foot wide chunk of rock would be pulled out of the ground as if stuck to the bottom of her back foot, and she would throw a roundhouse kick at the male figure. The slab would be launched, intending to intercept the path of the man as he ran toward her. But that was not all! Toph's kicking foot hit the ground and now became her forefoot, and then she would thrust both of her arms forward. Two half-foot thick walls rose out of the ground on either side of the non-bender at diagonal angles, so that they smashed into each other to form a twelve foot long tent with hardly any room to move left, right, or upwards. The previously launched slab of earth would pass right through this space where aimed at the non-bender's groin.

The girl slammed her shield into the ground to block the two blades coming her way. This was getting more troublesome then it needed to be at this point. She began to earth bend once again, and as she flew out her round house kick, he'd make a sharp turn in his own advance to head left and out the way of the attack. As this occurred, the girl began to move her body even more, signalling she was going to follow up with an attack. Boy did she, as two slabs of earth shot of the ground attempting to create some form of tent. Already being on their toes, as the earth shifted beneath their feet the blocker would do a leap frog motion, catching the edges of the two stone slabs with the soles of their feet. With its upward momentum attempting to create a tent, the Chi Blocker would press off of both slabs and flip through the air to escape narrowly. Flipping 10 ft over head, the chi blocker would twist their body while pulling out a single stun baton with their right hand. Holding it in a backhanded grip, they would descend slightly behind [2 feet] the earth bender and attempt to stab backwards into her back. If successful, the baton would send a paralyzing shock throughout her body, allowing the chi blocker to sweep her legs and send a few left handed jabs into her torso. However, any time during this something could have stopped the plan, forcing the chi blocker to change their own method of attack.

This one sure was nimble, flying around the arena faster than Toph could earthbend. He evaded the slab of earth, and he would launch himself above the walls of earth before they could connect... that's when Toph lost all sense of the man. She figured he was now in mid-air, and had no idea where he would pop up next. With fearful haste, Toph would hold her arms out to her sides and then swing them above her head, clapping her hands together underneath the shield. In synchronization with her movements, two halves of a half-foot thick dome would protrude from the ground and connect into a full dome around Toph to guard her from all potential directions.

The man would next pop up just behind her dome, causing her to quickly reverse her stance and to smash her left fist into the inner wall of the shield. dozens of spikes would protrude from the back of the dome attempting to impale the masked man and make him swiss cheese from head to toe. Each spike went two meters before stopping, and at that point Toph would follow up by smashing her shield into the inner wall, launching the spikes off in a wide spread if they hadn't already perforated the non-bender.

As the chi blocker launched into the air, the girl seemed desperate to try and protect herself. Bringing her arms down from her waist and up over her head, in an attempt to protect herself from, the blocker would watch her movements and alter their own. Having full control of their body, they would flip and dive down towards the girl. A hand already grasping a smoke bomb and popping the pin, the little girl's arms would be raising up pass her neck, and the earth would follow suit. The faceless blocker knew they wouldn't make it into the dome, but with a flick of an arm, the smoke bomb would be released into a small hole slightly before the dome closed directly over her head. Extending their other arm, they'd hit the earth dome and immediately flip off its top and back into the air. The smoke would fill the inside of the girl's dome, hopefully smoking her out over time, or forcing her to make a big enough hole so it could try to filter out. The Chi Blocker would keep their weapons ready to strike right when there was an opening.

Toph felt the bounce of some cylindrical object hit the ground near her feet some point just before she had closed up the dome of earth. A series of other bounces, and the sound similar to wind blowing around did not couple well. She felt the impact of the man's hand on the top of the dome, and she would smash her steel shield into the top of the dome to create protrusions of spikes to launch from the dome's top in all directions in an attempt to skewer the non-bender, but to no avail.

That's when her throat became irritated with her breathes, and she began to cough lightly... she realized now what the cylinder was as it rolled around on the ground inside the dome—a smoke bomb. When she felt the man's feet land once again on the ground, she would swing her arms like a sledgehammer at the side of the wall of the dome, blowing out a sizable rounded chunk about five feet tall and wide, straight towards the masked man. The smoke cam expanding out of the dome directly after, followed by Toph stumbling out after a whooping cough.
