Saito would start the journey from the Eastern air temple upon his glider, but eventually he would stick to land and would walk. The says passed slowly and during that time he took moments to evaluate what he was going to say. Saito would wonder how things had changed in the Earth Kingdom, surely there might be a new leader, or perhaps some strange new customs. Regardless of what he fantasized about, only arriving would prove things for sure. To do that he needed to pick up his pace. So, he would hitch hike with a caravan, which was a bit faster than walking. Plus, Saito was well liked so it often got him some free food which was also nice. His appearance also had him well liked by some of the ladies, but Saito refused their advances simply because he is a humble monk and not a lecherous one.
"Simply ridiculous" Saito would think as he hid himself within another caravan as this really tenacious female came looking for him, calling out his name that he wished he had not given.
