| - Spoiler:
"Come one, Come All! See the amazing fire breathing man fight the flames! The Incredible! The Amazing! Flameo the Magnificent!" Standing up on stage with the crowd below, a young man wearing an odd festival mask, and red fire nation robes, would be swinging flames into the sky. Shaped in the form of whips, the flames would twirl and make various designs before all the onlookers eyes. The masked man would flip around the stage, sending large flames out across the crowd with precision and grace, just to hear the crowd's various 'oohs and aaahs.' Those who knew Raizo personally would obviously know he was the one behind the Mask. Such a brash style of fire bending only belonged to him. Earlier that day, the group of Raizo, Riri, and Umi had made it to the Ba Sing Se. Using the money he won in the Earth Bending tournament, the Flame Avatar had rented a home for the team while he was to find an Earth Bending teacher. Of course, that money wouldn't last forever, and he was too proud to ask Umi for money. Especially after she refused to date him. Psh, that wasn't important. Making more money for their future trips was. Using the Avatar card outside the Fire Nation wasn't really changing anything, when it came to special treatment. Raizo despised it, but he was treated just like everyone else. How he ended up as a regular show boat on a stage was another story entirely. There was one man who seemed to care that he was an Avatar, and that was the man who owned the show. The director of a traveling circus by the name of Ling Hao. Though Raizo was too proud to stoop down to a circus freak, the money and fame promised with the position did nothing but sway him into the role. Now here he was..Kicking up flames like a regular firebending circus hand..Though, he was actually having more fun than he previously imagined. With a few more flame enhanced kicks towards the sky, Raizo would spin on his heels and bow his head to the crowd. Ling would hype up the crowd as they threw various masks and confetti in the air. This fame was definitively something he could get used too. Before he had to act out to get such attention, but this was so much easier. Who needed to do constant pranks to get attention when you could have a job that brought attention in for you? Man, he was so tempted to slap himself..Why didn't he think of this before?

| The Festival of Rebirth. Yoko had, throughout her former years, seen fliers and hear tell of the yearly celebration, but had never been too interested enough to pay much attention to what it really was. She lived in the Fire Nation, and it was always held in the Earth Kingdom... what would this red-headed girl know about it? Well, today she figured that out as the night fell, but the hundreds of lanterns hung throughout the city of Ba Sing Se chased the darkness away. Fireworks occasionally lit up the sky as well, chasing away the twinkling stars for just a second before returning. Performers gathered on every block, and the streets were filled with crowds of people either participating or simply watching the festivities; even some cabbage vendors saw opportunities this vibrant night, to sell their crispy green vegetables. Well, Yoko might as well have been a performer as well, considering the amount of stares sent her way. She... hated clothing, and wore the minimal that wouldn't get her thrown in the brig for disturbing the peace: A flame red bra, and incredibly trim spandex shorts. Her tight pink socks covered more skin than the two combined, as they rose up to her knees. She also wore some fingerless black gloves, white boots with a fiery pattern along the sides, a striped monochromatic scarf, and a black headband around her forehead adorned with a skull trinket. Her outfit left much of her creamy light skin on show for the festival-goers.
She weaved throughout the crowds, throwing her vision this way and that to catch glimpses of all the performances tonight. Most wore strange traditional masks, which was an intriguing thing indeed, but Yoko disliked the thought of one over her own face too much to purchase one from herself. Whatever the case, pretty much every performance was spectacular regardless of masks or not, and the young woman's eyes shined with a tinge of youth. Since she had stomped off from her previous posse, she hadn't really felt happy about it. But this celebration cleansed her of her worries and stress and allowed her the care-free experience everybody seemed to be having. For one night, at least, Yoko could relieve herself of the annoying thoughts of that kid, Raiz—... Yoko's eyes looked onward toward a really flashy display. Even though it was far away and performer was hidden from sight by all the spectators, she could see the jets of flames rising high above the heads to light the entire street for several blocks. With a terrible gut feeling and a narrowed frown, Yoko would make her way forward, squirming through the thrall of civilians.
When she could finally see him, she almost face-palmed. Up on stage was a kid with a familiar height, a familiar build, and familiar clothing, was the boy her thoughts had revolved around not thirty seconds ago. The only difference was that he wore a mask like a lot of the performers did, and that he seemed to be cast in a new light... It was night time, and it was his firebending that lit him up rather than the sun above. He looked... warmer. But Yoko only showed exasperation at the fact that she had accidentally run into the boy again. She removed her hand from her face, she sighed, and she even frowned. But, she didn't leave. She would stand amongst the crowd and watch with the rest of the spectators as the young fire avatar demonstrated his masterful prowess over the element of power. When he finished, he would bow to the crowd and send them into an uproar. She didn't clap and shout like the rest of them, but she didn't maintain such a grouchy frown either—Yoko would smile.
Though it was apparent that they would have to have a talk about his choice of occupation. What a loser!

| As Raizo waved his hands to the crowd, he couldn't help but shift his glance to look towards a certain female that stood out so much..And that outfit, my lord. That didn't help the case whatsoever. He should have known the fiery Yoko would had made an appearance to such an event. Oh man..Maybe she didn't recognize him! Yea, that could be it! Maybe she didn't recognize him, and instead she was just so amazed at the show that she was smiling. These thoughts cause Raizo to light up like a fire bug! It would also be the perfect time to mess with her like the good old days too..Before he ditched her. Or she ditched him..Or whatever had happened between them. Without even thinking his plan through, Raizo would launch himself from the stage and land within the crowd. Of course the people would part, as he hit the ground infront of the young woman and put a hand on his side. "Miss, I couldn't help but be drawn in by your beautiful looks during the show." Raizo made sure to disguise his regular voice while sliding to the side of Yoko and leaning towards her. "This festival is pretty impressive, isn't it? Someone could easily get lost out here. I have an awesome idea!" Snapping his fingers, a small spark would emit from their tips. "How about we enjoy the festival together? That was my last show for the day, and I'm kinda new to Ba Sing Se. If you show me around this place, I'll make it up to you later." Oh ho ho..Maybe his flirting failed with Umi, but surely it would work with Yoko, right?! She was similar to him..Kinda. Though, they said opposites attracted, and they were too similar. Maybe this would end in disaster if anything else. However, as long as Raizo got to mess with her..he was content. | |
