The first thing most people notice about Kawako is her long fluffy hair. Kawako was gifted with rich thick hair that flows towards her back in big bouncy curls. Her hair is such a light blonde that it has turned into the color of ivory. From afar, people will even get the idea that her hair is pure white. Kawako will usually have her hair styled somehow. The clips, ribbons, and styling will vary from day to day.

Kawako, like the majority of the people in the water nation, has blue eyes. Her eyes aren't blue like the sea however, and are more piercing. Her eyes are the color of ice in the sunlight: light and seemingly glowing. Her eyes are piercing and usually leave an impression on most people. Though her eye color is truly splendid, the expression she has on them don't necessarily fit. Because of her personality, she seems more sleepy.

Her skin is fair and her physique makes her seem much taller than she actually is. Kawako stands at a height of 5'5" with spidery long limbs. Her body is curvy and voluptuous, showing off that she has indeed grown into a woman. Her legs are well toned. Her fingers are long and delicate Her clothing style is modest though, and she won't show off too much skin.

If silence is golden, then Kawako's soul is purely gold.

Kawako is a very quiet person. She almost appears dead in every social situation. She speaks more in her mind than she does verbally. Because of this, Kawako is a good listener. She knows how to listen to key facts and take them in well. She can understand problems and situations too if someone talks about it.

Because of her being silent most of the time, it is safe to assume that Kawako has interesting thoughts. In fact, her mind is so cramped up with words unspoken that she has developed multiple personalities in her head. None of these actually come out when she speaks though and her words are always soothing and calm.

Kawako is also very patient and prefers to do things at her own pace. She believes the tide will take her to where she needs to go and is never in a hurry to get things done. Because of this she is always well rested to the point where people assume that she is actually lazy.

When it comes to fighting, Kawako will refuse at first unless it seems like the right thing to do. If her home is being attacked or if her friends and family are, there is no doubt that she will fight to the death. Though she might not seem like the strongest person out there, personality wise however, she can be.

She knows what kind of water she is in and where the current is taking her. She knows the ins and outs of the seas and oceans well enough to make them an advantage for her.

Description: Growing up the in the snow, Kawako is so used to the cold that she is certain she can walk around naked on it She absolutely isn't hindered by cold winds and water. She absolutely loves it. This makes it hard for her to adjust to the heat however and her body will complain against it until she's used to it.

Description: Kawako grew up with a healer for a grandmother. She thought her some medical procedures, herbs, and medicine. Because of this she has a general knowledge of healing and she would love to be a healer sooner in the future. Knowing that water has healing properties, she uses this to her advantage.

Yoya is a young puffin with a multicolored orange beak. Yoya is quite small and hasn't grown into his full size yet.
Description: Yoya is incredibly clumsy and hyper for a bird. He loves to run around and dance. He loves to ride the wind.
Special Abilities: Besides being resistant to the cold, Yoya is just your ordinary puffin.
Origin: Kawako found him on the cold mountains of her home town.

Special Abilities: The water inside it contains mysterious healing properties. It can only heal what Kawako can heal however and can heal in simply three drops for minor injuries and six drops for major ones. Minor being things like first degree burns and major being third degree ones.
Origin: Was given to her by her grandmother and she was told to only use it on special occasions.

She can only use it 5 times before having to write a 1500 word count to fill it up again.

History:
They say that when someone dies, it is only the beginning and not the end.

Chapter One:: The Birth
Her mother was someone who could not do anything. She was very sick and very, very tired of life. Her final request was to have a baby brought into this world so that she may care for her until her life runs out. It as a selfish wish indeed but her husband loved her more than he loved water bending and he granted her her only wish. The woman soon came to give birth to the future avatar of the water nation.

They named her Kawako after the ancient water spirits. She was a strange child with hair as white as the moon. They were both very fascinated by this. They also noticed that her eyes were a far lighter blue's than the majority of the people. They decided to shield her from harm and all that was terrible in their thoughts.

Chapter Two:: The Childhood
Growing up wasn't tough for her. In fact her mother died before she turned the age of three. Her father couldn't take it anymore and sent her to live with her grandmother while he went away to try to discover himself. Her grandmother was a kind yet strict woman who was a very famous healer in the tribe. She had the kindest eyes Kawako had ever seen yet a scowl that made the hair on the back of her neck stand.

She taught Kawako the basics of medicine and healing. In fact, Kawako grew up watching badly injured bodies brought into their home to be healed. Sometimes she even watched them die. Because of this upbringing, she knew death was a natural part of life. She learned to accept this in such an early age. Was that why the girl was so calm?

Chapter Three: Realization
It was more of a shock that ran up her spine when she discovered who she was. The ability to bend things that seemed far out of her control. Was this talent a gift or a curse? The title of avatar seemed much more of a responsibility than fun. She was only seven at the time where she found out that she was the avatar. Passed lives did not help in the realization. In fact, it was when she was able to suddenly bring the wind to her direction that made her notice who she was in fact.

She practiced air bending day by day. She was able to finally confirm the fact that she was an avatar when she was able to mold it into a perfect sphere. She ran in and told her gran what she had discovered. She felt betrayed when her grandmother told the village leaders.

From that day on, people around her viewed her differently. It was an aura she did not like.

Chapter Four:: Growing up in Solitude
She was intimidated by the new title given to her so she hid in the darkness of life. Some people called her a coward, others understood where she was going with. She decided to train herself and get stronger before she would take on the responsibility. People insulted her for running but she knew why she did it. As a child, she wasn't ready to be trained and taken by people. She had to do it in her own pace and be more relaxed. She had to learn how to do things on her own.

It wasn't till she grew up into the beautiful young lady she is now that she finally decided to get out of the world.

The girl closed her eyes, a soft sigh escaping her small pink lips. Her hair overcast a shadow on her porcelain face, the only thing truly dark about her. Even in this moment of despair and torture, she was still trying to understand. Where had her parents gone wrong in raising Shizuminoru? If they had gotten her to be the religious child, why couldn't he have been one too? Shiiru's warm golden eyes met her older brother's more intense stare. He was cold and dead serious. It made her sad to think that she couldn't get him over to her side no matter how hard she tried. He will see it one day soon, she hoped. The way he spoke was so cold, so dark that she didn't know how one person could be so narrow minded. God was her only shelter and it was getting harder and harder for her to resist forcing her over to her side. She bit down on her tongue as she listened to him.

Thankfully the God talk had mellowed down to someone like their father. The coldness in his voice was still present and Shiiru did not know if the ice would ever melt into spring. She understood he was angry and he had every right to be. The way they were living and being treated —Oh, she knew it wasn't fair! But yet, she still couldn't help but be thankful for the fact that they had each other. They were blood and soul and would always be what they were. She was confident in it. She was sure that somehow in the afterworld, they would still be who they were. Shiiru simply burst now, an act of pure love. She hugged her brother's chest as he was far taller than her at this age. She was still a little girl after all. She knew he would be angry still and her hug wouldn't do anything. She did it for herself after all. Shiiru broke the embrace after he began to lead her to another room. So they really were escaping?

She looked out the window expecting a person or a guard to try to take them away. To her luck, no one was there yet. Her brother's expression changed. Confusion or was that worry? Shiiru couldn't put her lips to it and would try to reply to what he was saying. It was all going so fast. She tried to scramble up words into her lips. "Onii-sama, what are they going to do to Otou-sama?" She was genuinely worried about her father though they didn't even know each other or associate much. She simply loved him. It was a father daughter bond that neither time nor space could break. She simply had to forgive him no matter what. She knew her brother could sense the love in her voice but she didn't want to anger him anymore than she already had. Before she could say something else, Shiiru bit her tongue. It would be no use to say what was on her mind in this situation.

And then she felt it. Like something eery was happening. The hairs on the back of her neck began to stand. What was this feeling? Paranoia? Something was telling her everything wasn't going to be okay. Something was telling her that she should run…

As fast as she can.
