Titan's Clash - Soul&Saito

The welcoming scent of fire and brimstone filled his nose, mixed with the pleasure of death. He was on a high, a blood lust that had sent him into a crazed rage, his emotions matching the field of molten magma he walked upon. Anger filled his inside, but was matched with joy and pleasure, all of it mixing together in his soul to create a foul and demented man. Like a shadow he glided across the heated rock, aiming right for the man who came to end his life. From beneath his mask Kanda's eyes glared forward, his black cloak allowing his body to blend in with the smoke, ash and soot that filled the air.

He was responsible for the fall of the air nation, the slaughtering of all those peacefull and happy air bending monks. And this man, the ruler of that nation had come for revenge, had come with blind rage to end his life. Oh how he cherished this moment. He would stop several feet away from his enemy and let out a light chuckle. "So you have come for me huh, didnt you wanna stay in your temple and play with all your benders? oh...yea, i forgot. your temples nothing but smoldering ash now, and your silly air benders are all dead. You know i can remember it so clearly, their screams and cries of terror, all begging me to end their suffering. I actually did them all a favor you know." He laughed even more now, giving off a manic laugh that filled the air. He was ready to scar the very earth with their battle.

Saito would reach down with his right hand, drawing his blade with a quick and fluid motion. The high keening sound echoing throughout the volcanic area. The blade would be brought from its initial position of being in the sheath, to traveling above Saito's head. The length of the blade would then face behind Saito as it was brought around to rest at his right side, the tip of the blade pointing at the ground. In the distance there would be a wake of destruction. A large amount of highly pressurized wind had been emitted from the length of Saito's blade. It had destroyed or cut many of the large rocks behind him, but the most notable destruction was the large and distinct cut within the cliff face behind him. With a very intense expression Saito would seemingly burn holes in to Kanda's soul, saying "Come, Trash"As he said this the cliff face behind him would slide to the left, sending the top half of the land plummeting to the ground, a loud booming noise filling the area.

(power might be exaggerated, but its for theatrical effect)

Kanda watched, his empty eyes glaring at the man who dared to challenge him. The air Lord pulled forth a sword from its resting place, swung it behind him so that it rested with the point downwards. He could feel great amounts of power pour from this man as air was shot behind him, leveling and entire mountain. It was impressive, that was obvious, but not even close to intimidating. He smirked and began to clap, showing that he did not really care for this mans show, and that eh was only wasting his time. "You really are ready to die arent you?" His smirk faded as he brought his hands up beside him, palms open and facing the sky. He raised his head to peer at the sky, it was already dark and full of smoke and ash, but he would do even better. Heaven would soon be blocked, its reach held back by the very grasp of hell. Kanda would turn this field from a semi hot lava field to pure hell.

With great speed and force, he jolted his hands up to the sky, lowering his head and darting his eyes right into those of the air monk, as if he was pirecing his very soul. "Experience Hell like your brothers before you!!" His voice echoed out in the air as dark black flames jolted form his hands and poured themselves into the sky. Kanda was pouring energy into the air, and creating an atmosphere of his very own. The sky turned pitch black, full of smoke and ash, heat poured to earth, as if baking anything on it. Lightning would strike here and there as thunder clapped in the back ground. Hell had descended.

"Show me your hate, make me pay, and we both shall enter hell together."

Spoiler:

Saito would bend the air around him so that he could decrease its resistance to him. Basically when running Saito's body does not experience added resistance due to the drag upon his body, making him slightly faster and giving him an edge. In addition to that effect Saito would move forward, taking a step with his left foot. Instead of a step occurring what would happen next would seem impossible. Saito would accelerate to about thirty five miles an hour, speeding across the black plain to where Kanda stood about thirteen feet away. While most people would not be able to maneuver at that speed, Saito could. Being an Airbender he could control all the effects it had upon his body, therefore allowing him movement as if he were simply taking a walk. As he closed the distance, Saito kept his eyes and body alert, prepared to reciprocate as needed. Should he get within striking distance, Satio would initiate the close quarters combat with a thrust of the blade that was in his right hand, towards Kanda's torso. Saito would bring a small amount of pressurized air at the tip of the blade. So that should it make contact he would explode it outward. The concussive force causing more damage to Kanda's innards. These actions would happen as Kanda raised his hands in to the air.

(never stated how far apart we were, so I took the liberty)

The sky was set up, he was prepared now, however Saito seemed to be in a really big hurry, for he did not waste anytime getting this battle started. Kanda had time to see the man run at him, with an added burst of speed, but in order to block or dodge, kanda would need more time. He was a fast man, but when pit against a pissed off air bender, he would be out classed in the speed field. He needed something to buy him just a second while he regained his stature. With a whistle and a nod Kanda, ordered No-Face to act. The slick magma slug poked his head out from kanda's chest, his beady empty eyes focusing saito just as he was about to arrive.

With a gurgling sound, No-Face spewed forth a large spray of lava, erupting from his mouth and flowing like a fountain in front of his body. The spray stretch up to five feet in front of him and was about six feet wide. If the air monk did not act quick he would run himself right into the lava.

While this took place kanda used the time he would gain to step back a few feet.
he would watch the running saito and prepare himself, taking a earth stance, he got ready to move the lava if needed.

Saito would take notice of the spewing lava, easily picking the odd motions of the slug emitting from Kanda's chest. It was a peculiar thing to witness, for he had never seen such a creature before. Regardless of this oddity Saito would dodge this reciprocation with ease. A sudden burst of wind would "hit" Saito from his left side, causing him to slide to the right and dodge the large wall of lava, moving about seven feet. The residual heat warming up his entire body, causing a bit of his clothing to burn and catch fire which he would quell by using his void release to take away the oxygen from the flames. While in motion he would send an arc of cutting wind towards Kanda using his sword that was in his right hand, he would lift above his head and swipe down, sending a vertical blast of wind that would slice the man in half should he not move.

(not my most descriptive post, but this is for fun so imma go for flashy instead of practical)

His eyes darted back and forth, trying to keep up with the mans motions. He had managed to use his speed to move to the right and dodge the lava, however he had the time he needed to regroup himself and go back on the offensive. Keeping his focus on the air monk, he watched as the mans sword came swinging down. The sword was no where near close enough to slice him with the blade, however kanda already knew this man could send slices of wind from his blade. As the sword came down kanda made on swift motion. Stepping forward he took control of the lava that now decended towards the ground. By spinning to the left eh dodged the slice and sent the lava at the mans feet like a long extended whip, aimed to take him out at the knees.
